Adam Frantz began home brewing in 2007, and after falling in love with the art and science of it, he decided to try it as a career. At that time he already had a degree in biology but lacked the technical experience. To gain technical brewing experience he spent time working at two production craft breweries. After some time in larger breweries, Adam decided to drop down in size to nano brewing to experiment a bit more and rotate drafts more frequently. Currently Belltown Brewing uses:
