BOIL CONTROL

The Mash function is a PID based temperature control system.  When the user begins a brew, and enters a desired mash temp, the controller quickly adjusts the element output and therefore ramp rate depending on the difference in temperature between the strike water, and the desired mash temp.  With incredible accuracy, it is designed to achieve stable, consistent, and repeatable temperature targets. So holding mash temps through the duration of a single-infussion mash is both accurate and precise.  Or it can be used for a multi-step mash process, whereby the user can change the temperature target during the mash, and expect a fast and accurate ramp rate to the newly entered temperature target.

Additionally, all pump and heating element functions are controlled on-screen, so intuitively controlling flow and heat is all done without moving back and forth to different switches or buttons. We also added a graphing function which gives a detailed overview of your brew day and allows the user to export a .CSV file for those of you who want to analyze the finest time and temperature details. Lastly, we designed the controller with the ability to be upgraded over time through software updates, unlocking new features.
