Pressurized Transfer Kit | Chronical

This kit is designed for owners of Standard Chronical Fermenters and includes everything you need to perform a pressurized transfer.  Simply attach the pressurized transfer fitting to your Chronical's lid with the included TC clamp and gasket.  Then attach the pressurized transfer fitting to your CO2 regulator. Lastly, install the 1/2" barb to the Chronical's racking valve, and run the included 1/2" tubing to a clean and sanitized keg. The pressurized transfer fitting includes a PRV that prevents pressure from building to unsafe levels within your Chronical. Kit Includes:

  • (1) Pressurized Transfer Fitting
  • (1) TC Clamp
  • (1) TC Gasket
  • (1) 1/2" Barb to 1/2" NPT
  • (1) 5 ft Length of 1/2" Silicone Tubing
  • (2) Hose Clamps

We took a concept common in the beer brewing process known as vorlaufing, in which sugars are extracted from the mash in a recirculation process.  The result of applying this method to cold brew has been a dramatic reduction in brew time. 

The system gently circulates the coffee over the grounds to extract the flavors more rapidly while still retaining the signature smooth flavor profile that cold brew coffee is known for.
