Good News Brewing | Ofallon, Missouri

Joshua Miller, Matt Fair, Dan Tripp

Josh started brewing with Matt back in early 2014. Back then they were simply doing extract kits on Josh’s kitchen stove, but like most brewers they wanted to move past extract brewing. Right about the time that they moved to all-grain the two of them met Dan through bible study and began to build their first all electric system.  Once they had grown to brewing over 1 bbl of beer in Matt’s basement they knew they had to move into a proper building.

Ss Equipment:

How does your Ss gear help you brew better beer?

Josh Miller:  "Once you use equipment that is purpose built for what you’re doing there’s no going back. The unitanks are outstanding, they make the entire cellar process a piece of cake. The kettles are so much better than our previous ones all around. I think when you know your equipment isn’t going to fail you you can focus on the task at hand, making the best product possible."

Where do you see your brewery in the next 3-5 years?

Josh Miller:  "The best part about our brewery is that even as we want to grow and expand, our current location will only allow for our current capacity. We will always be a nano at our original location cranking out small batch beers. I do see us either opening a second, bigger location, or feeding the demand with an offsite larger scale brewery (10 bbl Ss brewhouse of course)"
